The first ever (again first ever is thrown around a lot by PR people) speed dating for people with dogs event is coming to NYC! The cost is $35, which seemed pretty reasonable considering you get a gift certificate and doggie treats from The New York Dog Shop, plus you know get the possibility to meet the man/woman of your dreams. You and your pup (I guess crazy cat ladies are left out of this one) go on 10 mini-dates, visiting several dog-friendly places in Central Park. Like other speed dating events, those who want to see more of each other are notified afterward for more one-on-one time. Gotham Unleashed would go except she has a serious boyfriend and two very dominant dogs. If anyone else goes, please tell us about it!
