FastLife Launches New York’s Finest Wine Lovers Speed Dating Event

New York (January 24, 2007) - FastLife has blended the subtle notes of fine wine with the excitement of fast dates, creating New York’s finest Wine Lovers Speed Dating event. This fusion of vintage and desire will take place on Tuesday February 13, the eve of the most romantic day of the year, Valentine’s Day, followed by monthly events thereafter.

This tannin-tinged evening will kick off with an introductory wine appreciation lesson held by a qualified wine expert. Then it’s on to dating where participants will embark upon a series of 10 eight-minute mini-dates, with each date accompanied by a different wine or an aphrodisiac hors d’oeuvre to heighten the experience. Throughout the evening, participants will taste 8 different wines.

This feast for the senses will be held at Vintage New York’s Wine Cellar, a “temple of taste and discover” that has become the ultimate resource for New York's boutique wineries and artisan winemakers. Between glasses of pinot noir and chardonnay, guests will be treated to delectable dishes including Arugula & Goat Cheese Croissants, Dried Figs Stuffed with Almonds and Blue Cheese, Crisp Fried Oysters with Wasabi Aioli, and, to sweeten up the evening, Chocolate Truffles. All ingredients have been specially selected for their aphrodisiac qualities.
